Hi, I’m Dixie Villarraga, a dedicated non-attorney special education advocate. My advocacy journey is fueled by deep frustration with the systemic inequalities entrenched within our public education system.
With over a decade of hands-on experience working with school-aged children and adults with disabilities, I’ve witnessed the transformative power of education. It’s a belief that’s become ingrained in me: every child deserves access to quality education.
My time in public education has taught me invaluable insider knowledge. I’ve become skilled at figuring out the intricate language and tactics public schools use to exert control over families.
